Music and spoken words are multicolored threads
intertwined, a piece of elaborately woven aural tapestry.
I spoke English and Spanish and, the lines of the poem
were translated into the native languages of the other speakers.
Some lovely variations of the English words arose in the translation conversations. Instead of “for all time” the Hungarian translation is “before time, present time and future time". One of the Spanish translations for "I give to you” was “I surrender to you”.
I initially wrote and recorded this piece in 2006, and came back to it over the years. I now feel that it's time to release it. Unfortunately, I am unable to locate my notes with the names of the speakers. I am still looking for these notes and will post when/if I find them.
Thank you all for your beautiful voices and translations.
I love you,
I love you always,
My love knows no bounds,
I love you for all time,
I love you every day,
I love you every night,
I love you for eternity,
I love you,
There's no measure of my love for you,
I give my love,
I give to you,
I love you,
you fill my heart with light,
I love you always,
For all time,
You fill my heart with light,
There's nothing I wouldn't do for you,
I love you always,
For all time,
You fill my heart with light,
I give to you,
I give my love,
(guitar solo)
I love you for all time,
I love you everyday,
I love you every night,
I give my love,
I give to you,
I love you.
